大家好，我係”綠小妹”。首先，我好多謝大家參觀我的博客。
我自我介紹一下自己：
在可持續發展和綠色建築的領域上，我已經工作超過10年了（有同行已經叫我”老屎忽”了🤣）。過去兩年，我亦在學習怎樣過可以得環保一點和健康一點。
首先對大家講聲抱歉，因為我不是一個擅長寫作和網頁設計的人，但我十分希望我可以透過這個博客同大家分享我在可持續發展和環境保護上的知識，興趣和專業。
怎樣開始的：
七年前，我的好朋友們問了我一條非常簡單的問題 “你的職業是做什麼的?”，而我的回答是我從事綠色建築有關的工作。從他們的回答，我開始了解到除了自己同行的朋友，我的家人和朋友對綠色建築完全沒有概念，他們甚至覺得驚訝原來香港有自己一套的綠色評估標準。
自此之後，我盡能力尋找機會以一個自願方式到不同學校和大學分享我在綠色建築的知識和經驗。我的目的係希望我的觀眾在聽完我的分享後，可以同他們的家人和朋友分享他們所學到的，然後可以有更多人認識什麼是綠色建築，甚至綠色生活。最終，我希望隨着大眾的環保意識增加，這樣可以對我們可愛的地球作一點的幫助。
推廣綠色建築和綠色生活一直都係我願望清單上的其中一項，亦係我上年的生日願望 (哈哈…雖然用了一年的時間準備 …）。由於這些原因，我創立了這個博客，希望透過這個平台用一個比較簡單和有趣的形式分享綠色生活和綠色建築。同時，我希望我自己透過準備每一篇的文章時，都能在環保知識上和溝通技巧上有所進步。

Hello, I am “Green Mei Mei”. First, I would like to thank you for visiting my Blog.
A bit introduction to myself:
I have been working in built sustainability/green building industry for more than 10 years. For the past 2 years, I have been learning how to live greener and heather.
Honestly, it is sorry to say that I am not good at writing and website design but I really hope that I could share my knowledge, my interest and my expertise regarding environmental protection and sustainability with you through this Blog.
Where I began:
7 years ago, my best friends asked me a very common question: “What do you do?” and my answer was green building related work. From their reply, I started to realize that apart from the people working in the building and environmental industry, my family and friends had no idea what green building was and were even surprised that we had our local green building assessment in Hong Kong.
Since then, I have always sought out opportunities to be the speaker in schools and universities as well as a volunteer in green building events to share my knowledge on green building. My intention is that my audiences will further share what they have learnt from my talk with their family and friends so that more and more people know about green building and even green living. Eventually, I hope that this public awareness can help a bit in saving our lovely earth.
Promotion of green building and green living is one of the items on my wish-list as well as my birthday wish last year (haha… spending almost a year for preparation….). In order to make my wish/dream come true, I created this Blog and will try my best to share the information on green building and green living in a simple and interesting way (hopefully…). Also, I hope I can continue to improve myself little by little through preparing each post, no matter my knowledge on green building and green living as well as my communication skill.
